The Warden Quality Standard (WQS) is your path to achieving scheme excellence and public recognition. London Training & Resource Centre administers the WQS on behalf of The Department for Communities and Local Government.
The WQS has been designed to encourage schemes of all types and sizes

The WQS is particularly relevant with the recent publication of the Local Government White Paper, Strong & Prosperous Communities. A key emphasis of the White Paper is about improving performance of local services and rationalising accordingly. The WQS is therefore an important tool for schemes to illustrate performance excellence and best practice.
All warden schemes can apply for the standard.
The WQS provides a national recognition of organisational quality, focusing on the capability of the organisation to deliver outcomes and to perform at the effective practice standards recommended by the NRU’s and Neighbourhood Management and Warden Team.
LT&RC can support your scheme through the WQS process, from application, to submission and renewal. Please contact our office for further information.
