Hello All! I am currently on my fifth week of back-to-back training and, subsequently, have been surviving on snap shots of daily life. So, what is going on in the world?

Well, these things I know:

Joe Swash is King of the Jungle; Austin Healy is no longer exposing his well defined pecs on Strictly; Diana Vickers sailed out of X-Factor on a wave of tears, and I’m about to deliver my first day of five days of CSAS training, yet again.

Mmmm…..something is not quite right here. Not that I want to dance, sing or swing my way though life under the scrutiny of the media but the thought of a change of scenery just for a moment is driving me crazy I’ve just got to say..............Get Me Out Of Here..............I’m a Trainerrrrrrrr!

Though what I also know is that on Sunday the Southwark Community Warden awards were held and the winners (below) were all richly deserved. We’ve been training wardens here at LT&RC for a fair few years now, and I can safely say that the quality of the wardens here in Southwark and the standard of their work is up there with the best of them, certainly in London, if not in the entire country. 

So congratulations to all of the talented individuals below and those who (this year!) did not win an award. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have some training to prepare for...DF
