CSAS (The Growing benefits) ...

Valuable Powers:

The provision of uniform presence in communities continues to increase public reassurance and confidence. Community Safety Accreditation Scheme (CSAS) is a system that allows organisations that are involved in community safety (and their employees) to be accredited.

It grants 'Accredited Persons' limited powers, which are aimed at providing
a better quality of life in the community, and helps co-ordinate some
activities like visible patrols and the sharing of information and assists
the police in tackling crime and anti social behaviour.
