We have helped reduce the number of repeat burglaries/distraction burglaries with our target-hardening advice, and work alongside the Safer Neighbourhood Teams (SNT's) throughout Ipswich.

A police visit provides a report of burglary/attempted burglary from garden, sheds, garages and general property and we then receive a referral and are called to install safety initiatives (e.g. hasp & staple and padlock, slide bolts, shed/property alarms). Over the 3 years we have carried out this initiative, repeat offences have reduced by 20-25%.

We have a number of Green Environment Initiatives. These include a Green Day to Work initiative, when all staff members walk, cycle and use public transport. In addition dumped waste off the estates is recycled (including using old car tyres for plant pots for our Junior Caretaking Scheme). We also have a chipping machine that we use for putting overgrown green waste back onto plant beds etc.
