This training addresses issues such as what to do if you suspect someone is at risk of harm, how harm manifests itself, how to protect yourself, an awareness of the relevant policies and procedures, and your responsibilities.
Understand:
An insight into the dangers that children & young people can be exposed to; The key indicators of abuse in all their guises;Case studies that highlight the extent of abuse;What your responsibilities are;The difficulties faced in proceeding with prosecutions;Your behaviour and the potential risks to yourself;The support process in place for victims of abuse.
